We are beyond excited to announce that the Childcare Leadership Alliance won the Community, Staff Engagement, or Equal Opportunity Award at the 2024 Queensland Mining Awards!
This incredible recognition celebrates the dedication of our team and partners in transforming early childhood education in regional Queensland. A massive thank you to our amazing team for their tireless commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences!
The awards, hosted in Mackay on 24 July, are a highlight of the Queensland Mining and Engineering Exhibition. This year’s black-tie gala, presented by the Bowen Basin Mining Club and the Queensland Resources Council, honored outstanding efforts in the mining sector. Categories ranged from safety and collaboration to innovation and community engagement, with a peer-judging process making the recognition even more special.
We’re thrilled to be acknowledged for our work in partnership with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and Astute Early Years Specialists. As our Director, Mel Comerford, shared, “This recognition highlights our dedication to providing high-quality early learning for all children, families, and the community. We are excited about the future and what the next phase will bring for the Childcare Leadership Alliance.”
The night also featured thought-provoking addresses from Adam Lancey, Asset President of BMA, and Janette Hewson, CEO of Queensland Resources Council, underlining the significance of community partnerships in building a brighter future.
This award reflects our unwavering focus on making a lasting impact on early childhood services in regional communities. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the Childcare Leadership Alliance!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Together, we are shaping the future of education in Queensland!
